Playoff's first puck about to drop
Today was media day in Washington, the team finished last night the regular season with a convincing win over the Anaheim Ducks, and Caps GM Vincent Tremblay answered many journalists questions.
First of all, Mr. Tremblay was asked regarding his level of confidence going into the playoff and obviously he answered, " We have a heck of a team, if we play hard, we will send four teams to vacation."
Regarding who will be the Goaltender, he answered Tomas Vokoun.
Here is what Vincent Tremblay had to say:
" Thanks for making it this morning, today we're happy to announce we will have home advantage until the stanley cup final. Even though we had success on the road this year, playing at home during the playoff is a real advantage, and we look forward to take full advantage of the situation. For me, having the opportunity to be the first GM to win two Stanley Cup in the SPHL, is something I've listed as my number one preoccupation. Year after year my team is competitive, and not many GM can say so. I have a lot of respect for GM such as Alex Antonnaci and Hugo Girard, because every year just like me, they hate to lose and they fight really damn hard to win. Today Alex and Hugo, with all the respect I have for you, I'm telling you I'ma fucking do everything to win the cup, take that as a serious warning, Be ready to face THE big team. No need of presentation to tell you why you should consider my warning. Without any doubt I'ma win the Eastern Conference, don't bother trying Pittsburgh, Montréal, Buffalo and all the underdog teams.
